ABOUT US

Founded by Sensei Leonardo Jones, the LEAD Karate Academy is one of the top karate schools in New Providence, teaching many kids the art and discipline of karate. Our main goal is to teach kids how to Lead by Equipping and Activating them to Dominate in an ever-changing society through karate. 

"Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment."

Our style of teaching is adapted from Okinawan Goju Ryu karate do, which was created by Chojun Miyagi Sensei (1888 - 1953). Goju Ryu karate do is one of the oldest martial arts traditions and movements that help children to learn self-defense and practice balance and breathing among other important techniques.
